These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Basuri ("the app"), created and published by Parshak Dahal ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Basuri, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Basuri is a personal tool for manually tracking your own money. You enter your own figures by hand. Basuri does not connect to banks or financial institutions, does not access financial accounts, does not move or transfer money, and does not carry out any financial transactions of any kind.
Basuri is provided for personal organization, reflection, and general wellbeing only. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the app should be relied upon as such. Any guidance, prompts, messages, or "coach" or "companion" content within the app is intended purely for general motivation and reflection, and must not be treated as professional advice. You are solely responsible for all decisions you make regarding your money and finances. If you need financial advice, please consult a qualified, licensed professional.
All figures, balances, and other information in Basuri are entered by you. We are not responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for any errors or omissions in that information, or for any decisions, conclusions, or outcomes that result from your use of the app.
Your information is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and the information on it. Deleting the app, resetting it, or losing access to your device will result in the loss of that information. We have no ability to recover it because we never receive or store it.
You agree to use Basuri only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to misuse, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the app except to the extent permitted by law.
Basuri is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions, including Australia, provide consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded; nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parshak Dahal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, savings, or money, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, Basuri. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) to download the app.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any of its features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, without limiting any consumer rights you may have under the laws of your own place of residence.
