Basuri Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Basuri ("the app", "we", "us", "our") is a personal finance tracking app created and published by Parshak Dahal. Your privacy is central to how Basuri is built. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your information. The short version: we collect nothing, and everything you enter stays on your own device.

1. The data we collect

None. Basuri does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal information or financial information. The app has no user accounts, no servers operated by us, no analytics, and no tracking technologies.

2. Where your information lives

Everything you enter into Basuri — including account names, balances, check-in history, spending and savings figures, goals, loans, bills, and app settings — is stored only on your own device. This information never leaves your phone, is never transmitted to us, and is never accessible to us or to any third party. We have no ability to see, recover, or access it.

3. No third parties

Basuri does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking SDKs, or external data services. Because we do not collect any data, we have no data to share with anyone.

4. No connection to banks or financial institutions

Basuri does not connect to your bank, does not access any banking login or financial account, and does not retrieve transactions automatically. All figures in the app are entered manually by you. Basuri never touches real money or real financial systems.

5. Your control over your information

Because your information is stored only on your device, you remain in complete control of it at all times. You can permanently erase all of your information at any time using the "Reset to fresh start" option within the app's settings, or by deleting the app from your device, which removes all associated data.

6. Notifications

If you choose to enable daily reminders, Basuri schedules local notifications on your device. These reminders are generated and stored entirely on your device and are not routed through any external server or service.

7. Children's privacy

Basuri is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the Australian Privacy Principles, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Because Basuri does not collect or hold any personal information about you, there is no personal data on our side to access, correct, or delete. You can manage and delete all of your own on-device information directly within the app at any time, as described in section 5.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
